WHAT PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES ARE OFFERED THROUGH THE BBRC?

The BBRC serves as a “one-stop-shop” for loans as well as management and technical assistance for small business enterprises. Any business is eligible under the loan programs offered through the BBRC, with the exception of those excluded under the guidelines of the Small Business Administration (SBA).

WHAT TYPES OF FINANCING PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES?

The Birmingham Business Resource Center (BBRC) provides loans and resources that are utilized by all types of businesses, large and small, that meet the needs of the potential as well as the already existing business owner.

WHAT INFORMATION IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR A LOAN AND HOW LONG DOES THE LOAN PROCESS TAKE?

Clients can complete a basic application that the loan officer can use to get the process started. Additional documentation may be required. Once all necessary information is provided, an answer is rendered as soon as possible.

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I BORROW FOR MY BUSINESS?

The BBRC has several programs offering loans from $1000 to $1.5 Million Dollars. Loans are designed to fit the needs of a wide variety of business owners. Loan terms, rates and maturities vary depending on the project.

ARE GOVERNMENT GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR MY BUSINESS?

At this time Grants are NOT available through the BBRC

ARE THERE COSTS INVOLVED WITH ANY OF YOUR SERVICES?
